About Me

Hi my name is Rachael Temple and welcome to my running blog! I love running and have been doing it for 11 years and plan on doing it for as long as I can. It all started when I would play tag with my neighbors and was pretty quick which led to me dusting everyone in the mile in gym class. When 5th grade came around, I did girls on the run and then joined the running club. Once 6th grade started, I officially joined track and have been training and competing in cross country and track every year since.

Currently, I am a North Central College student where I am on the cross country team and in Digital Media Writing class, so this will be where the two worlds collide.

Everything about this sport has had a large impact on my life and I am thankful for all the opportunities it has brought to me. Since spending so much time running, I have a deep understanding and appreciation for it and want to share everything about it.

I will be sharing personal experiences along with advice and encouragement in the physicality and mentality sides of running. Runner or not, the goal is to create content for all. whether you're a beginner or a crazy runner yourself or anywhere in between, I hope you will be able to relate and learn new things.

Music is another important thing in my life and as much as I wish I could be a DJ one day I am sitting comfy in having it sprinkle in on other ways in my life. I enjoy making playlists for all areas in life so I am excited to be sharing songs especially for working out and running to.

As I continue on the running journey and am now writing about it, I hope you guys will all run away with me!
